Our Story

Arizona Lionhearts was born from the hearts of parents navigating the beautiful, challenging journey of raising children with exceptional and neurodiverse needs. As parents of two children with developmental needs, we experienced firsthand the frustration of feeling like just another number in an overwhelmed system.

We were tired of impersonal care, of being treated as statistics rather than families with unique stories, dreams, and needs. We envisioned something different – something better. We dreamed of care that was personalized, helpful, and authentic. We wanted an organization that truly educated families, advocated fiercely, and showed up consistently when it mattered most.

Every day, we are inspired by the incredible Arizona developmental disability community – the brave individuals and families who face this world with courage, determination, and boundless love. Their resilience fuels our mission and reminds us why this work matters so deeply.
